How it works...
Wear It Again is a resale consignment store. We do not buy clothes. All merchandise is placed on consignment for up to 90 days. Here are our consignment guidelines:
- Contact us by phone (608) 249-6901 or email appointments@wearitagain.com to schedule an appointment. We accept merchandise between 10am and 6pm, Monday through Friday. There is no limit to the number of items you may bring, however we do ask that you inform us ahead of time if you will be bringing a large quantity of items.
- The clothing is seasonal which means from:
January–June — we accept Spring/Summer merchandise
July–December — we accept Fall/Winter merchandise
- Clothing needs to be freshly laundered and free of wrinkles. When you come in for your appointment we will look through your items for wear (stains, holes, missing buttons, etc.) Items we cannot take will be returned to you at that time. Keep in mind the condition of your merchandise, as well as current buying trends, determine what merchandise we accept.
- You will need to fill out a Consignment Contract (PDF). You can print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you, or you can fill one out at your appointment. During your appointment you will also choose whether any remaining items after the 90 days should be returned to you or should be donated. We donate merchandise to St. Vincent de Paul in Madison.
- Your items will be priced competitively and put on the sales floor for up to 90 days. You receive 40% of the selling price for any items that sell during that time.
- You may call or come in at any time to check on the status of your account. It will be listed under your last name. Consignor checks can be mailed to you directly for a $1 fee.
